Andrea Hoffman

Andrea has provided leadership-minded clients with forward thinking ideas, strategies and tactics for over 25 years. She is a marketing strategist and trend forecaster who is the visionary behind ground-breaking diversity initiatives.

Andrea’s expertise is a combination of agency and entrepreneurial experience. She began her career in event marketing, creating and producing celebrity-driven events, and for the last 13 years has specialized in business development, diversity initiatives, and designing new media marketing communications strategies.

Andrea has worked with BMW of North America, Mercedes-Benz, Alliance Capital Management, 20th Century Television, Hispanic Civil Rights Organization - National Council of La Raza, ABC’s American Latino Media Arts Awards, Hachette Filipacchi Magazine, actor Jon Seda, Gibson Musical Instruments, NASCAR Café, Sony Electronics, Scholastic, UPTOWN Magazine, Hermes, Thurgood Marshall College Fund, Jaguar Land Rover, UniWorld Group, Lagrant Communications, BET, Anthony McGill, Baume & Mercier, Wonderful Media, Hunter Miller Group, Draftfcb, and others.

Andrea’s career highlights include functioning as the key architect of the Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) entertainment strategy that included several diversity tactics. She also helped to evaluate MBUSA's multi-million dollar Presence Marketing budget during a time when Mercedes was shifting its brand towards a younger demographic. Additionally, Andrea was part of the research team that helped a prominent NYC law firm win a landmark diversity case.

Andrea is the co-author of Black is the New Green-Marketing to Affluent African Americans (Palgrave Macmillan), serves on the Advisory Board of Madonna’s Foundation - Success for Kids, is also a Board Member of Evidence, A Dance Company, and a Member of The Luxury Marketing Council.

Andrea is also the Editor-in-Chief of the monthly e-newsletter Royaltons Report, and co-author of several research reports/resource guides including Online Purchasing Patterns of Affluent African Americans, Multicultural Wealth Report, Marketing to Affluent African Americans-Strategic Insights for Reaching an Untapped Market, the Affluent Black Marketing Sourcebook and is also a contributor to Fortune Character Magazine; a luxury lifestyle publication which serves the elite in China.

Ivan Burwell, Senior Strategist

Ivan Burwell

Ivan is an advertising, marketing and communications specialist with over 17 years' of experience in the strategic development, design, and execution of targeted merchandising and promotional programs. His unique approach has resulted in a very successful track record of building brand equity and generating product trial, resulting in incremental sales that have continuously exceeded the plan. Ivan has also served with distinction on corporate innovation teams whereby the objective was to identify, evaluate, and recommend new business development strategies and best practices.

As the first Director of Ethnic Marketing at the Coors Brewing Company, Ivan established the template and methodology that concentrated on both advertising and retail marketing development based upon a strategic platform and keen consumer insights.

Kojo Bentil, Senior Consultant

David Pensak Mr. Bentil, a former Universal Records executive, is also Executive Vice President of Kedar Entertainment, where he oversees the company’s operations and reports to founder and CEO Kedar Massenburg. Mr. Bentil has had a dynamic 15+-year career showcased by his ability to lead companies in achieving financial, operational and market success. Mr. Bentil’s career has been marked by his building and growing companies from the ground up, turning around underperforming businesses, and structuring, negotiating and closing multimillion-dollar transactions. Prior to joining Kedar, Mr. Bentil was Senior Vice President of Strategic Marketing & Business Development for Motown Records in New York, As a member of its executive management team, Mr. Bentil was also instrumental in successfully reviving the division’s fortunes by increasing its annual sales from $100 million to $170 million.

Greg McBoat, Chief Economist

Greg McBoat Greg McBoat's expertise is in marketing research and economic analysis, including survey development, focus group facilitation, employment and workforce analysis, and industry studies.

Mr. McBoat graduated Suma Cum Laude from the University of Denver with a bachelor's degree in statistics and marketing. During his time at the University of Denver, Mr. McBoat specialized in primary data research design and multivariate data analysis. Mr. McBoat has spent over ten years as a marketing researcher and economic research consultant. Past clients have included: the City of Los Alamos, New Mexico; Historic Denver, Inc.; Project Angel Heart; TheraMed Inc.; Denver Public Schools Career and Technology Education; and Metro Volunteers.

Mr. McBoat has worked in both the public and private sectors spending over three years as a Statistician for the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment. At the Department of Labor, Mr. McBoat concentrated on such programs as Local Area Unemployment Statistics and Mass Layoff Statistics. Mr. McBoat has also worked for the economic consulting firm, Development Research Partners, conducting research such as industry cluster analysis and Towards a More Competitive Colorado for the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation, an evaluation of the educational needs of small businesses for the Small Business Development Center Network, and an informational gap analysis and workforce demand study for the Metro Denver WIRED Initiative.
